Georgina Waste Transfer Station

The Georgina Transfer Station will accept household waste that is in excess of the current bag/item limit.

• The Georgina Transfer Station is located at 23068 Warden Avenue north of Ravenshoe, phone number 905-476-7555.
• Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.The charge is $70.00 per tonne; minimum charge $7.00 per load. ** Please note on April 4, 2011 the charge will be $10 minimum per load.
• The Hazardous Waste Depot is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
• Blue box recyclable material, scrap metal, small metal appliances and yard waste - no charge (subject to change).
• Large metal appliances $20.00 per unit potentially containing CFCs (subject to change).
• Clean fill (i.e. soil, bricks, concrete, wood, cinder blocks, asphalt - not to exceed 500 kg (1100lbs) Delivered by residents: minimum $95.00 per tonne (minimum $7.00 per load).
  Delivered by Industrial, Commercial, Institutional: $100.00 per tonne (minimum $25.00 per load).
• Tires: No charge for cars and trucks
