 What Goes Where?

*Corrugated cardboard boxes are banned from the landfill and may not be used as a garbage container, EXCEPT FOR BROKEN GLASS.

Broken glass poses a hazard for pedestrians and collection workers. Place broken glass and other sharp items in a cardboard box, seal the box and label it "BROKEN GLASS". Recycle all other cardboard.

Carpet and linoleum will be picked up on your biweekly garbage day, provided it is cut up and securely tied in bundles weighing no more than 20 kg (44 lbs). Maximum length is 1.2 m (4 feet). Each bundle counts as one item towards the weekly bag limit. Additional rolls require a bag tag.
